Jesus saved us by his Grace and mercy . We are already redeemed and pardoned of our sins no matter what relegion you may have. thanks to Jesus for sheding his precious blood to all of us so that we may have life in abundance. Our job now is to believe Jesus that he is the Son of the Living God whoever believes in him will not be perish but have everlasting life. We must be thankful for the Faith that God has provided us hence our Faith comes when we only invite the Holy Spirit into us. We are saved by the Spirit and not in the flesh. The Kingdom of God is in Heaven and not in the earth. whatever belongs in the earth all of our flesh are sinful, therefore we are only save by our Spirit to connect with the Holy Spirit. God has anointed us there are no defeated devil can touch us. If God is with us who can be against us? Brethen we need to put our Trust to Jesus rather than to put our confidence to a man. We may have turbulence comes in our life but all the battles belongs to Christ. We must increase our prayers by praising and thanking Jesus for everything he has done into our lives. Jesus loves us. Amen

Suzay Grenis 's comment is exactly right so I don 't have anything to add at the moment except the devil adds words, changes words and ommits words in Gods Word if he can, just like he did with Eve.

This applies as the end times progress. There is an increase in Narcissists and Socio Psychopaths in society due to skewed values, poor parenting, many reasons -and they love to prey on the good-hearted and undiscerning in the church. This is a warning to be wise as a serpent ,innocent as a dove. Flee these people. They cause great harm to others.

I want to point out something here, to all of you who think that the Old Testament and the Commandments of the Torah are for "just for Jews ". And that we are under grace and not under the law so we don 't have to follow the Law anymore. Paul instructs Timothy that all Scripture is good for sound doctrine. I 'm positive he was not referring to his letter to the Galatians when he said: 15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. Check it out. 1 John 2:4 He that saith, I know Him, and keepeth not His Commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Some will also bring up a fact that let 's say there wasn 't so much media attention concerning particular events. Surely for thousands of years there were horrible cases such homicides, wars, rape, genocides, etc. But it is just now getting worse in all civilized countries. And all countries now see what other countries are going through. The world is falling into the hands of Satan.

The average person doesn 't really see what 's going on in the world around them because they are caught up in this life or a career or just surviving, a lot of young people have lost interest because the so called churches out there have turned Christianity into a money making system, these people are intelligent enough to see it, but not knowledgeable enough to know where to turn next, so they just give up. the word of GOD says that the mass of people seek after GOD but it is the shepherds that lead them astray. My advice is to young and old when you are moved by the Holy Spirit, when you are being convicted by him, Repent give your life to the Messiah the Son of the Living GOD,then, the things that you know you are doing that are againist God, STOP and try to change, this is sanctification, get yourself a King James Bible and start with the new testament and do like James said, let no man teach you but let it be done thru the anointing of the Holy Spirit,

  • Brianna on 2 Timothy 3:13 - 10 years ago
Interesting point I got from this verse and verse 12. Jesus never said things would go from good to bad, but from bad to worse. As we draw closer to the end of this system, there is no doubt that people are seeing this world change as never before. Some say that things have always been this way. Yes, but they indeed have gone from bad to worse.

It is a sharp reminder for all of us and should cause us to ask, "Is it me, Lord? " Am I staying close to Christ am I ever reaching for the hem of his garment? Am I kind, merciful, honest, humble am I meek? Those are things I want to be seeking after every day of my life.

2 Timothy 13 17 13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. It all happens to a religions deceiving and being deceive. Religion makes a people confuse, remember God is not a God of confusion but a God of peace
  • Chidinma eziyi on 2 Timothy 3 - 10 years ago
In verse 12 we are made to understand that all ye that will live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution so that we know that Godliness attracts persecution but be rest assured that the word of God is not bound and that is our victory is a two edged sword ready to pierced asunder any soul.destroy any foundation or powers so we know that the word of is not in trouble or in prison not to perform on our behalf all we need to do is to follow godliness in this world and do it Amen and Amen God bless you all no matter what we face the word is well able to deliver us Amen.
  • Stevo on 2 Timothy 3 - 10 years ago
Our decision if we are to remain in Christ then what we have and own today on this earth even our preservation of lively hood will be taken away from us from the powers and rulers of this earth for "Yea and all that live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution "...verse 12
