You need to ask for forgivness, but you can not just move on with your life without repentace of that sin you've commited. That is the entire point of salvation.
It's like stealing a car, and still drive around in the car you stole.

If a person believes Jesus was commanded by his Father to establish the following doctrine, then they must obey the command:
"...if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift."
Matthew 5:23-24

If a person does not want to obey the preceeding command, they must present a compelling argument against it.
"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist."
Luke 21:15
