2 Corinthians 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia: it was the will of God for Paul to become an apostle of Jesus Christ. Amen

Paul's Gospel 1 Corinthians 15-1-4, Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and was buried and rose from the dead three days in the power of God. If we know that we are a sinner, believe in the finished work of the cross, what more do we have to do to go to Heaven. Believe with faith plus nothing, that's all. It's that simple. Believe with faith plus nothing. Amen Amen Amen

My friends, Yes Apostle Paul was faithful and believed God, but Jesus had chosen Paul for the Gentiles ( Acts 9:15) and the other Apostles had to follow Jesus comments, do not go in the way of the Gentiles ( Matt 10:5-7). Paul is our Apostle for our time. So Jesus had to give him new Revelations ( Romans 16:25) . We are to follow Paul and read his epistles so we can understand the Bible 2 Tim 2:15

Paul calls the Gospel of Christ "his gospel" because Paul walked by faith, he did everything in faith, he lived in the Spirit, he abides in God's Word.

The Corinthians church had a lot of problems, there was alot of bad things going on, that's why they were called babes in Christ. The Corinthians were not eating the meat of the Word because of there sins. Apostle Paul had a hard time, but he had alot of love for that church. The books of Corinthians will teach Salvation of today, the gospel, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, Paul calls it his gospel. Read it

Vs. 4 Our God has supplied us comfort through the pages of the Bible. Many of the persons in the Bible serve as an example to us. As we read their examples and overcome trials we can be a source of encouragement to others. May we heed the counsel Matt. 28:19,20 and share the good news.

Verse 11 highlights the strength of the power of prayer. Here, Paul states that one way to help others is to pray for them. Just as prayer helped Peter escape unjust imprisonment, when we offer heartfelt prayer in the behalf of others, Jehovah God will certainly take notice.

We want to thank God for all the Veterans who serve and have served by giving their lives as an offering for those of us who are the beneficiaries of Freedom. Thank God that the God of all comfort shall comfort you, as well as welcome you into the heavenly kingdom. Here can be seen the importance of church discipline. Our Lord has given instruction in Mt 18 how He wants it to be done. The ultimate goals are the restoration of the guilty, the purity of Christ 's church, and most importantly, the glory of God. Paul evidenced patience and love while at the same time not sidestepping a leader 's responsibility under Christ. Ultimately the guilty party was restored, God be praised.

Paul acknowledged that the brothers in Corinth stood firm because of their own faith in Jehovah God. Paul saw no need to control the faith of his brothers, and he had no desire to do so. He was confident that they were faithful Christians who wanted to do what was right.
