Revelation: A study on the likely implications of destruction by God rather than man's methods

Before continuing on this subject from Revelation 4 to 19; and briefly looking at the last 3 chapters as well I did want to say that it would appear that there is one noteable exception to the rule; that would be the destruction of Babylon by fire. The Bible seems to point out that the Antichrist Beast destroys this territory by fire; and the destruction is complete. I will get to it further as we attempt a chronological examination of the prophecies in Revelation and corresponding elsewhere in the Bible but will say that it appears that is at least half way through the Tribulation before that happens.

INTRODUCTION: It is impossible for me or anyone else to know how far we will deteriorate with current international events; and how long the Rapture is from this date. We certainly should continue in prayer asking for mercy so that worldwide conflict will not occur; but of course that starts with those NOW being persecuted and those who are in wars today to be given strength to endure. This means helping out with feet on the ground or financially supporting our fellow servants in Christ whenever possible today. It also means we need to search beyond what mainline media is telling us to discover things going on in parts of the world such as Africa in particular that often aren't discussed. It would seem with today's media mania that enemies would be at a disadvantage even knocking out our power grid which is certainly a likely scenario at some point whether deliberately or by a solar "Carrington" type event. We don't know all the details; but surely when Antichrist finally starts to rule today's technology will be key for him to get his message across; although there could be places where people assemble to hear "approved" broadcasts and everything else could be shut down. I could see solar power as being used for the mark of the Beast also.
